Holwell Bowls Club- A friendly successful lawn bowls club, That is located on the Herts / Beds border aproximatly 3 miles north of the Market Town of Hitchin.
There has been a bowls club in Holwell since 1956.
The club has a county standard 6 rink green which is run by an elected comittee, that is voted in on a yearly basis by our members whose age range from juniors to grandparents.
The club has a modern club house which contains all the facilities that a modern Bowls Club needs. The green is open from April to September. The clubhouse is also open on every 2nd Friday of the month and some Saturday’s during the close season when the club runs various social events. (Please see our "what’s on" page for details.)
