Parking

There are car parks at the Village Hall and the John Rand Recreation Ground. These are open when there are events on. At other times, access may be limited to prevent unauthorised access.

There are particular areas within the village where parking is particularly tight. The Parish Council are currently looking to resolve parking issues in parts of Rands Meadow, and are working with North Hertfordshire Homes to find a working solution. There is plenty of space in garage area behind the bungalows in Rands Meadow and this is well lit at night.

In the meantime, please be considerate about where you park.

• Please do not park on verges or block footpaths.
• Please do not double park as this may block access for emergency vehicles and large lorries.
• Please think about your neighbours when parking, especially if they are elderly, have infants in carriers or are disabled.

If you block somebody in, or access is severely restricted, it may become a police matter.
